We are pleased to inform you that the Data Base di Sintesi Nazionale - DBSN (National Synthesis Database), covering the entire Italian territory, is now available on our website for consultation and download. Such an important release represents a significant step towards the availability of geographic data concerning the national territory. These data are essential for experts, researchers, students and all those who require reliable spatial information.

Compared to the previous one (2023), the new version (August 2025) includes important updates:

• completion of national coverage througn the publication of data (Italian border);
• update of the built-up area at national level;
• partial update of the most important areas of relevance;
• partial update of the road network for key functional rankings.
